Description
Stohlquist Trekker is remarkably similar to the Cadence on first glance. Turn it around, however, and it’s a whole different beast. The Wrapture torso system is an advance on the normal set up that Stohlquist use. It pulls the front panels even tighter around your torso, leaving you maximum movement to paddle comfortably.
The back panel of the Trekker is half cool mesh and half floatation. This half and half construction is the perfect set up for touring and sit-on-top kayaking, especially in kayaks with high backed seats. These can be a difficult set up to get comfortable in with normal PFDs, and it’s easy to find yourself being shunted forwards off the seat, whereas with a high backed PFD you will be able to make the most use of that seat you’ve paid so much money for.
In kayaks without a high backed seat, this mesh back is perfect for warm weather, where the extra ventilation will stop you overheating. The Trekker has a touring cut to go along with this mesh back, perfect for long trips on the water in warm weather.
Floatation: 16 lbs. 12 oz.
USCG Rating: Type III
Entry system: Front zip
