Bonafide Kayaks SS107
The Bonafide SS107 is a solid, compact kayak that doesn’t sacrifice performance. It offers an extremely stable ride considering that it’s less than 11” in length. It delivers much of the same great features that are found in the Bonafide SS127 model in a smaller, more manageable size.

Size and Weight
The SS107 is 10’7” (322.5 cm) in length and offers a 34” (86.3 cm) wide body that’s geared toward stability in a variety of conditions. It tips the scales at 89 lbs (40.3 kg), making the SS107 lightweight enough for most anglers to drag or even tote it for short distances. The SS107 is the perfect size for those who prefer to cartop their kayak instead of using a trailer or truck bed.
With a carrying capacity of 425 lbs (192.7 kg), the SS107 has the ability to handle as much as most full-size kayaks. Not many compact kayaks are able to support larger individuals, but this one is capable of comfortably supporting anglers up to 275 pounds along with a decent amount of gear. It’s often a good idea to not overload your kayak and keep your total weight to about 80 percent of the maximum capacity. Most average-sized anglers will be able to pack lots of gear onto the SS107 and still have a relatively comfortable ride.
The SS107 is full of high-quality features that you’d normally look for in a fishing kayak, but Bonafide has done a tremendous job of packing all of those features into a smaller, compact kayak.
The bow is fitted with an oversized handle and a paddle holder that also functions as a rod stager.
The SS107 also sports the same front-end cargo hatch as Bonafide SS127 does, which is perfect for storing rods, tackle, lifejackets, and just about anything else you might need on your fishing trip. Having a protected storage space like this means that you’ll be able to keep all your gear safe and sound when transporting your kayak to and from the water.
This model also has the same amount of legroom as the SS127, along with the middle-console dry pod in the center. This dry pod is the perfect location for mounting a transducer onto, while also functioning as a safe location to store any valuables like phone, wallet, camera, etc.
The SS107 has easily adjustable foot pedals that slide on durable metal tracks. Two aluminum gear tracks are located on the gunnels.
The standing area is padded to improve traction and dampen any noises. It is also super comfortable if you fish barefoot.
At the stern, you get a large tankwell that is ideal for storing crates, coolers, or anything else you choose to carry. The stern also features an access hatch that allows users to easily remove and access any cables needed for trolling motors or other electronics.
Behind the seat, there are two more soft pads. Frankly, we would prefer to see rod holders there.
The kayak has a very comfortable seat that can be adjusted to a variety of positions. Many users report that this seat provides all-day comfort for long fishing trips. Under the seat, there is an oversized storage space that can house tackle trays, lure boxes, or any other gear you need quick access to.
Bonafide’s goal with the SS107 was to provide a lighter, more compact kayak that still has most of the great performance and capability that the SS127 is known for. The company was able to do just that.
This kayak is all about stability, and with its high carrying capacity, this is an outstanding choice for larger anglers that want a compact kayak.
According to Bonafide, this kayak was designed for “fishability.” As you might expect with a shorter kayak, the SS107 isn’t the fastest ride out there and the tracking is also not as good as longer models. However, this kayak certainly makes up for any shortcomings by offering supreme comfort and stability on the water.
