Fully inflated, the Excursion Pro K2 is 12 ft. 7 in. (384 cm) long and 36 in. (91 cm) wide. This is more than enough space for two kayakers to get comfortable. A lot of the width is taken up with the inflatable sidewalls, which give the Excursion Pro K2 high stability. Weighing just 46.7 lbs. (21 kg), this is a lightweight kayak that you can easily move around on the land. Once packed down, you don’t want to carry this any long distances, but it’s easy enough to load up into your trunk and unload at the lake. A capacity of 400 lbs. Features

These seats can be adjusted to optimize legroom and onboard storage. An included inflatable pad can be fitted under either seat for extra height and comfort when casting or paddling. In front of each seat is an adjustable plastic footrest to help you remain comfortably upright. A number of D-rings are fitted around the kayak to secure your equipment. A waterproof bag is included, designed to fit at the bow, for stowing important gear. A choice of two removable skegs gives you deep water and shallow water options, depending on your chosen environment. Intex Excursion Pro K2 is fitted with two rear rod mounts, as well as one front mount that can fit phone holders, an articulating rod holder, or a fish finder. Intex includes a hand pump and two collapsible paddles in the bag.

Performance

As an all-around recreational kayak, the Intex Excursion Pro K2 stands up well to a range of environments and different uses. The high-pressure design is strong enough to withstand regular use and rocky beaches. Large sidewalls make this a particularly stable kayak, though they can feel restrictive for larger paddlers. The seating is comfortable. The adjustable footrests are an unusual but welcome addition to an inflatable kayak. However, these seats only offer a reasonable amount of support and can fold if you lean back into them too hard. You are likely to want to jump out a few times throughout the day to stretch your legs. The addition of the extra seat pad is great for anglers or smaller kayakers, who will benefit from the extra height to cast or reach the water. The removable rod holders and gear mount, too, let you change your setup each time you hit the water, making this a versatile option. Having everything included in the bag makes this kayak a good all-around option that you can just grab and go over and over again.
