Old Town Vapor 10 is 10′ (305 cm) long and has a 28,5″ (72.4 cm) wide hull. The kayak weighs 47 lbs (21.3 kg), so it is not the lightest 10-footer, but still totally manageable. The total capacity of 325 lbs (147.4 kg) makes it a viable option for anyone under about 220 lbs as long as you have enough room for your legs.

Performance
Old Town Vapor 10 is a pretty short and wide kayak. With a sharp keel that goes the entire length of the boat and bulky soft chines, this boat is stable and tracks pretty well for a 10-footer. Overall, this is a great option if you plan to go on slow, relaxed recreational trips.
Construction
Old Town Vapor 10 is rotomolded from High-Density Polyethylene( HDPE). The concept of rotational molding is simple. Beads of polyethylene are poured into a mold. The mold is then rotated inside an oven until the inside of the mold is coated with a layer of plastic. After the mold cools down, you get a hollow one-piece construction which is very rugged and durable.
Warranty
Old Town kayaks are covered by a lifetime warranty for the hull and deck (for blemished boats marked as BLEMs, the warranty is 5 years). The PDL drive comes with a 5-year limited warranty, which covers defects in workmanship and materials. The accessories, including paddles and life jackets, are covered with a 1-year warranty from the original purchase date.
