Fully inflated, the Sea Eagle 300x is 9 ft. 10 in. (300 cm) long and 39 in. (100 cm) wide. This short but broad design gives the 300x loads of maneuverability, so you can easily negotiate the twists and turns of rivers.

Portability is important when it comes to inflatable kayaks. Weighing just 31 lbs. (14 kg), you’ll have no issues carrying the 300x to the water or loading it into your car. If there’s a rapid you don’t like the look of, just lift the 300x onto your shoulder and simply walk around.

The Sea Eagle 300x is a one person kayak with a capacity of 395 lbs (179 kg). While this kayak is designed for day trips, rather than overnights, it does have some angling potential. This capacity gives you the room for your fishing accessories.

Features

The Sea Eagle 300x is built to handle all types of water. This is an easily adaptable kayak, with additional features for open water and angling.

A common issue among inflatable sea kayaks is their lack of responsiveness. The Sea Eagle 300x inflates to 3.2 PSI. Along with the separate Drop Stitch floor, the boat feels rigid enough for surfing and tight turns.

The 300x has front and rear spray skirts to prevent waves crashing over into your kayak. Sixteen drain valves help to keep your ride dry, so you can stay in full control.

Eighteen D-rings are in place to secure equipment and seats. The standard seat sits low in the kayak and is comfortable and supportive. Optional extras include the angling seat, a higher platform for fishing comfort.

When you’re not negotiating the twists and turns of white water, you want a kayak which can track true. The large, removable skeg turns this into an open water tourer, completing the one boat fits all feel.

Beach landings and bouncing off rocks along the way won’t worry you. The three chamber design means that in the unlikely event something punctures your kayak, you will stay above the water.

On white water and in the surf, paddlers will benefit from the rigidity and stability of this kayak. The 300x is arguably more at home on rivers than on open water, but the large skeg does help it track in light winds. In heavier wind, the height of the boat can make it difficult.
