At 15 ft. 3 in. (465 cm) long and 36 in. (91 cm) wide, Sea Eagle 465ft is far from small. This is a boat which has enough waterline to track effectively. The kayak is also wide enough to keep you really stable as you paddle.

With the total capacity of 794 lbs. (360 kg), Sea Eagle 465ft can realistically carry three adults with all their food and gear for an overnight adventure.

Weighing just 44 lbs. (20 kg), the 465ft is very easy to load into your car and carry to the water at the other end. This kayak inflates in just 8 minutes, so you can be on the water in no time at all.

Features

The floor of the 465ft has drop stitch technology and can be inflated to a higher pressure to make the boat feel more rigid and stable. It also reduces drag when you’re fully loaded.

The high nose of the 465ft keeps your ride high and dry. Usually this would mean that the bow has no contact with the water, but Sea Eagle designed their NeedleKnife keel to avoid that. This separate, high pressure tube stops you from drifting in the wind and keeps the boat tracking straight.

At the rear of the 465ft is a removable, swept back style skeg, which works with the keel to keep you going straight and improve hull speed and stability.

Front and rear spray skirts prevent water from crashing over the bow or stern as you cruise in the waves. This is helped by the bow rocker, which keeps the front of the boat clear of the spray.

There are 20 D-rings situated around the kayak. These not only secure the seat in place, but give you places to attach your gear.

Performance

Sea Eagle 465ft is a two- or three-person kayak which will give you a real feeling of stability and security out on the water. The high pressure floor keeps things rigid and responsive, so this boat feels more like a traditional kayak than an inflatable.

The NeedleKnife tracking system works extremely well, even in challenging conditions. This is a kayak which is easy to paddle in all conditions, even with minimal experience.

As usual, Sea Eagle have made a kayak which is quick to inflate, easy to transport and is really strong. This kayak will be equally at home on your local lake, in the ocean or on white water rivers (up to Class II).
