At 10 ft. 8 in. (3.3 m) long and 28.5 in. (72.4 cm) wide, the Venus 11 balances cruising length and paddler-friendly width to make a well balanced kayak for smaller paddlers.

With a capacity of 225 lbs. (102 kg), there’s plenty of room on the Venus for smaller paddlers. There are plenty of storage options on the Venus 11, too, and this capacity leaves enough space for you to carry equipment with you on the water.

The Venus 11 weighs 44 lbs. (19.2 kg). This lightweight kayak sits high in the water so that it cruises along without wearing out the paddler, while still having enough depth to track in the wind.

Features

The Venus 11 has a quality array of features which make this a suitable choice for smaller paddlers who want a recreational kayak capable of short day trips. The Comfort Hybrid seating system is supportive and adjustable, the high back contorting to fit smaller paddlers and keep them upright as they paddle. Ahead of the seat are molded in footwells, so you can choose how engaged or relaxed you are on the water.

At the bow of the Venus 11 is a cam lock storage hatch which opens into a sizable internal storage well. The cover on this hatch is watertight and extremely secure, but easy enough to open and close. At the stern of the kayak is a tank well, secured with a bungee. The central hatch completes the storage, giving the paddler a small storage area within reach.

One of the major features of the Venus 11 is how transportable it is. The grab handles at the bow and stern, as well as side handles, are relatively universal now and give you loads of options to carry this boat. A central, rigid handle is added to help with car-topping.

Performance

The Venus 11 is a popular kayak with small framed paddlers who benefit from the narrow design and low deck height. The ability to reach the water more easily and engage more efficiently lets smaller paddlers spend long days on the water without undue fatigue.
