The Versa Board is 12’3” (373cm) long and 33” (84cm) wide, making it extremely stable while giving it a longer waterline to cruise and track through the water.

It’s a good thing the Versa FS has a wheel at the stern for portaging, because at 63lbs (26kg) you’re unlikely to be carrying it too far. You’ll certainly want an extra pair of hands for loading this onto your vehicle.

Paddler weight for the Versa Board is 300lbs (136kg) which is plenty for those on a day out or who are going fishing for the day.

Features

The Liquidlogic Versa Board FS is, as the abbreviation would suggest, an incredibly versatile platform. Doubling as a sit-on-top kayak and a stand up paddle board, this boat can do a bit of everything.

The width and double tunnel design, similar in principle to inflatable boats, gives this boat enormous amounts of stability as though it were fitted with outriggers. Meanwhile the length and extended keel line keeps the boat tracking effectively through the water so you can go for long days out or learn to paddle board efficiently on it.

At the rear of the board is a spring-loaded skeg system, controlled with a simple lever near the seat. This system changes the board from a nimble, agile boat to one which tracks true and covers huge amounts of ground with minimal effort.

The Tag Along wheel at the rear of the boat makes it easy to take the Versa Board to the lakes and rivers, while rudimentary grab handles are fitted front and rear to haul it onto your vehicle.

Under the frame seat is a sit-on-top seating position and two grip pads for stand up paddling to keep you secure and allow you to transfer power through the board. Recessed footwells are moulded in for kayaking, too, and scupper drains will allow any water to drain from the boat. These are fitted with scupper bungs.

A small hatch at the rear and two enormous bungee areas allow you to store all your gear, especially useful for those using this boat as a fishing platform.

Unique to the Versa Board FS is the frame seat, a comfortable and supportive place to sit and relax on the water or from which to fish.
