Description
The lightest all wooden canoe paddle available, but still an absolute machine when it comes to driving your boat through the water efficiently. Bending Branches Java has a thin but powerful blade, which allows you to quickly recover your stroke and keep driving the boat forward.
This smooth transition also makes turning strokes and fine skills easy, as the paddle dances through the water, while the spectacular pin-striping design not only maximises strength but is certain to turn heads wherever you’re paddling.
A solid basswood shaft replaces the more common laminated basswood, to lighten the load and keep the flex and power you want from a wooden canoe blade.
With a fiberglass coating and rock protection around the blade, this paddle will endure some hardships on the water, taking its share of knocks along the way.
The Java from Bending Branches company is available in either straight shaft, with the freestyle palm grip, or with an 11 degree bend and the classic palm grip.
