This is Bending Branches’ top end recreational paddles, for those canoeists who want something a bit special while they’re out on the water.
Starting from the blade, the BB Special has the teardrop shape that you see on the Bending Branches higher end paddles. This gives you a powerful catch when you start your paddle stroke, while flowing seamlessly through strokes and linking them together easily.
The ovalised shaft and classic palm grip make this paddle extremely comfortable to hold, even on long days on the water, while the tip protection means you can keep paddling with the BB Special for years.
This is the first in the Bending Branches line to have the 11 degree bend at the base of the shaft, giving you a longer, cleaner catch of the water and a much more efficient open water paddle stroke.
