The Malta is the Aqua Bound’s top end paddle boarding paddle. Extremely lightweight and available with either fiberglass or carbon reinforced blades. These both stiffen the paddle significantly, while reducing weight to give you an easier swing and recovery.
The fiberglass version will have slightly more flexible blades, stronger and more durable than the carbon option. The carbon blades, however, provide a more direct catch and power phase, with no power lost to flex. The carbon version is also lighter, so the swing and recovery may be easier over long, hard days on the water.

The blade on the Malta is the largest paddle boarding blade that Aqua Bound produces. The teardrop-esque style balances smooth stroke transition with outright power. Unlike traditional teardrop blades, the Malta has more defined edges at the base, providing slightly more drive than other paddles.
The ten degree bend in the pure carbon shaft increases the efficiency of this paddle. The Malta is available in one piece, or two piece options.
