Description
When recreational paddling reaches its apex, you need the power and efficiency of the stiffest blade available. Aqua-Bound Challenge 85 is an enhanced version of the Freedom 85. Rather than being reinforced with fiberglass, the blade of the Challenge 85 is carbon reinforced. This extra stiffness and lighter weight give you direct power and easy increased stroke rate. A shorter power phase and higher cadence can help you build momentum and cruise along.
As a recreational paddle, the Challenge 85 is designed for comfort and ease of use, to make your time on the water as straightforward as possible. The palm grip and the carbon shaft are comfortable and responsive. An extra ten degree bend in the shaft increases the power this paddle can provide.
By keeping the whole paddle lightweight, you get an easy swing and recovery, preventing fatigue. The balance also gives a slight flex to the paddle, making it more durable and less likely to cause long term injuries.
